NIFTY Short — Two-Stage Liquidity Reversal

DEMO: a short with a strategy deviation — the relative equal highs were not clear.

DEMO: this is a sample entry with invented numbers. It is not a real trade and not real performance.

My journal documents my own trades and decisions. Your results may be different. This entry describes my own decisions; it is not a recommendation to take any trade.

Trade setup — what I saw

In this sample trade, I considered a short after buy-side liquidity was taken, but the relative equal highs were not clearly formed.

Trade notes — what happened

My entry was a little late. I moved the stop to entry once price moved in my favour and was stopped out at breakeven. (DEMO data — not a real trade.)

Mistakes & deviations

Strategy deviation: I entered without clear relative equal highs and without a defined partial target.

What I learned

If a criterion is unclear, I should record the trade as a deviation rather than stretch the definition.

Post-trade review

Process: nine of eleven criteria. Outcome: breakeven.
