PropFlagger (https://propflagger.com) is an independent prop trading firm review and risk analysis platform. We provide data-driven reviews, risk scoring, and comparison tools to help traders make informed decisions. We are not a financial advisor, broker, or affiliated with any prop firm we review.

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account registration: Email address, username, and password when you create a PropFlagger account.
  • Contact forms: Name, email address, and message content when you contact us.
  • Saved preferences: Firms you save, your trading style preference, and notification settings stored to your account.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, time on site, and navigation paths — collected via Google Analytics 4.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and referring URL.
  • IP address: Used for geographic analytics (country-level only) and security monitoring. We do not store full IP addresses beyond 30 days.
  • Cookies: Session cookies for logged-in users, analytics cookies (Google Analytics), and advertising cookies if you have not opted out (Google AdSense).

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We never collect your trading account details, financial information, or payment card data. PropFlagger has no access to your prop firm account or trading history.

  • To provide, maintain, and improve PropFlagger's features (reviews, risk scores, comparators)
  • To personalise your experience (saved firms, recommendations)
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset) — no marketing without consent
  • To display relevant advertising via Google AdSense (see Section 6)
  • To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Google Analytics (analytics), Google AdSense (advertising), and our hosting provider — all bound by data processing agreements.
  • Affiliate partners: When you click a prop firm affiliate link, the destination site may set its own cookies. We share no personal data with affiliate partners.
  • Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

5. Cookies

PropFlagger uses the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for login sessions and site functionality. Cannot be disabled.

6. Google AdSense & Advertising

PropFlagger uses Google AdSense to display advertisements that help fund our independent research. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

We do not allow prop firms to pay for favourable reviews or scores. All PropFlagger scores and risk assessments are determined by our independent methodology.

7. Affiliate Disclosure

PropFlagger participates in affiliate programmes with some prop firms we review. When you click a "Start Challenge" or affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our scores, risk analysis, or editorial content. Our PropFlagger Score and Risk Score are calculated using the same objective methodology for all firms, regardless of commercial relationships.

8. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
  • Analytics data: Retained for 14 months per Google Analytics 4 default settings.
  • Contact form submissions: Retained for 12 months then deleted.
  • Server logs: Retained for 30 days for security purposes.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR (EEA), UK GDPR, CCPA (California), or other applicable laws, including:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to processing for direct marketing or legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

PropFlagger is not directed at children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Your data may be processed by Google Analytics and Google AdSense on servers in the United States and other countries. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. By using PropFlagger, you consent to this transfer.

12. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, password hashing, and access controls. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted to our site.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site and the "Last updated" date will be revised. Continued use of PropFlagger after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
