Prop firm marketing is professionally optimised to be misleading. Challenge fees are hidden in footnotes. Drawdown rules are buried in FAQs. Payout conditions only appear after you've paid and failed three times.
PropFlagger exists to cut through that. Every firm we review is analysed against a consistent 7-criteria scoring framework — profit split, drawdown leniency, fee value, payout speed, rule flexibility, scaling, and track record. No firm pays for a better score. No placement fee buys a higher ranking.
We're funded traders ourselves. We've paid challenge fees, dealt with trailing drawdown floors, and navigated inconsistent payout terms firsthand. That experience is built into everything we write and every tool we build.
Independence
We accept no payment from prop firms for better scores, rankings, or editorial coverage. Our affiliate commissions come from clicks, not from firms buying placement.
Consistency
Every firm is scored against identical criteria. A firm with a 95% profit split gets the same points regardless of whether they advertise with us.
Transparency
We publish our scoring methodology in full. You can see exactly why a firm scored 6.2 and not 7.5. No black boxes.
Recency
Prop firm rules change constantly. We update firm data when conditions change and flag when information may be outdated.
Challenge Rules
Phase targets, minimum days, maximum daily and total drawdown, consistency rules, and all the fine-print terms that determine whether you pass or fail.

Our Editorial Process
Every firm review begins with a structured data collection stage — challenge rules, fee schedules, Trustpilot ratings, and Terms of Service are gathered from primary sources. A member of the editorial team then runs the 3-Pillar risk assessment and PropFlagger Score formula. Scores are cross-checked by a second team member before publication.
Content produced with the assistance of our PropFlagger Data Engine is always reviewed, edited, and approved by a named human editor before publication. No automated content is published without editorial oversight.
