Research, not advice. This is what I found in public sources about prop trading firms. It is not financial advice or a recommendation to buy any challenge. A challenge is a paid evaluation: most people who try one do not get funded, and the fee is usually not returned. Rules, prices and ratings change often, so confirm everything on the firm’s official site. Some links here are affiliate links, explained in the affiliate disclosure. See the full disclaimer.
Is E8 Markets worth it? My quick verdict
E8 Markets is a firm with two very different reputations. Its customer support and payout speed are praised even by critical reviewers; its funded-account rules and a handful of ban allegations are what cause trouble. In my Top 10 it ranks ninth because the public rating is hard to verify and the 2026 complaints are specific enough that I would read every funded-account rule before paying.
What is E8 Markets?
E8 Markets is a forex and CFD prop firm offering evaluation accounts and funded accounts. I could not confirm its founding year or head office from the sources available to me, so I leave those to the official site. Some reviewers describe a profit split more generous than the roughly 90% typical for the sector; check the current figure.
How reputable is E8 Markets?
- Public rating: a blog quoted 4.4 from 3,227 Trustpilot reviews as of April 2026. A tracker said the Trustpilot profile was currently suspended. Another site showed 4.2 from about 207 reviews of unknown origin. I treat the rating as unverified.
- Safety signals conflict: one tracker graded safety D while giving an overall 4.6.
- Promotional sources: some positive articles include promo codes.
What do traders praise and complain about?
Praised: same-day or within-hours payouts in several recent reviews, and consistently excellent support, even from a critical reviewer.
Complained about:
- Withdrawal buffer and first-withdrawal limits. An April 2026 reviewer said a $1,000 buffer is needed before a first withdrawal and that rules tighten after the first withdrawal (maximum $1,000).
- Bans. One reviewer alleged a ban for over-risking after being paid over $62,000 across five or six payouts. E8 had not responded in what I saw.
I could not read Reddit directly. Look for recent forex-trading discussions before deciding.
Which E8 rules should you read before buying?
- The funded-account withdrawal rules, including the buffer.
- How over-risking and similar behaviour rules are defined and enforced.
- Whether the Trustpilot profile is live and how many recent reviews it has.
How much does E8 Markets cost and how do payouts work?
Prices vary by account size and plan. The more important question is the first-withdrawal path: how much profit you must build, how much you may withdraw first, and how rules change afterwards. Compare that with FTMO and Alpha Capital Group.

Reminder: I do not claim that any firm here is safe, that you will pass a challenge, get funded or be paid, or that trading will be profitable. Ratings are my editorial judgement from public sources, which are often affiliate-funded and sometimes disagree. Commissions never change a score. Only pay what you can afford to lose.
