Research, not advice. This is what I found in public sources about prop trading firms. It is not financial advice or a recommendation to buy any challenge. A challenge is a paid evaluation: most people who try one do not get funded, and the fee is usually not returned. Rules, prices and ratings change often, so confirm everything on the firm’s official site. Some links here are affiliate links, explained in the affiliate disclosure. See the full disclaimer.
Is FundingPips worth it? My quick verdict
FundingPips is the firm for people who look at the price first. It undercuts many rivals on entry cost and has a huge review base, which is why it ranks fifth in my Top 10. What keeps it below FundedNext and the older names is a payout system with moving parts, conflicting reports about its consistency rule, and complaints about closures that I could not independently confirm.
What is FundingPips?
FundingPips is a forex and CFD prop firm based in Dubai, with a public launch press release dated February 2023 and a founding year most sources give as 2022. It offers 1-Step and 2-Step challenges and several account types.
How reputable is FundingPips?
- Public rating: roughly 4.5 on Trustpilot from about 39,000 to 52,000 reviews in 2026 roundups, one of the largest review bases in the sector.
- Time in business: younger than FTMO or The5ers by several years.
- Regulatory flags: a community-driven site, WikiFX, rates it unregulated with a very low score and warns of sudden account terminations. WikiFX is user-driven, so I treat it as a flag to read the terms, not as evidence.
- Complaint tracking: one tracker said it had published no payout-denial reports for the firm, while noting it only aggregates unverified public posts.
What do traders praise and complain about?
Praised: low entry prices and fast payouts, the most cited positive theme.
Complained about:
- Account closures. A May 2026 user said an account was closed after a payout was denied by a third-party processor, and another said an account was closed over a “synchronization delay”. These are individual claims with no response from the firm in what I saw.
- Complex payout mechanics. One review says Master and Zero accounts have stricter payout and risk mechanics than many reviews explain, and advises against it for traders who hold weekend positions, trade news aggressively, or rely on one big winning day.

Which FundingPips rules should you read before buying?
- The payout cycle table and which split applies to which cycle.
- The consistency rule on on-demand payouts (reported as 35% or 45%).
- Prohibited behaviours: weekend holding and news trading.
- The behaviour of third-party payout processors and what happens if one denies a payment.
How much does FundingPips cost and how do payouts work?
Entry prices are low (one source cited about $29 for a small 2-Step Pro account), but remember that the cheapest door is not always the cheapest room. Because your split depends on how often you withdraw, work out the realistic split for your trading frequency, then compare it with FTMO.
FundingPips pros and cons
Pros
- Low entry cost.
- Large review base and quoted rating near 4.5.
- Several payout cycles to choose from.
Cons
- Split falls if you withdraw more often.
- Conflicting reports about the consistency rule.
- Closure and payout-denial allegations that I could not verify.
Who is FundingPips best for, and who should skip it?
Best for budget-conscious forex traders with steady, spread-out profits and no need to hold over weekends.
Think twice if you rely on a big single day, trade news, or want the longest track record, in which case read The5ers.

Reminder: I do not claim that any firm here is safe, that you will pass a challenge, get funded or be paid, or that trading will be profitable. Ratings are my editorial judgement from public sources, which are often affiliate-funded and sometimes disagree. Commissions never change a score. Only pay what you can afford to lose.
