Research, not advice. This is what I found in public sources about prop trading firms. It is not financial advice or a recommendation to buy any challenge. A challenge is a paid evaluation: most people who try one do not get funded, and the fee is usually not returned. Rules, prices and ratings change often, so confirm everything on the firm’s official site. Some links here are affiliate links, explained in the affiliate disclosure. See the full disclaimer.
Is Bulenox worth it? My quick verdict
Bulenox is a firm where the same star rating hides two very different customer experiences. Plenty of traders say they are paid; a vocal minority say they were denied under rules they could not find written down. It ranks eighth in my Top 10 futures prop firms because that second group is specific enough to matter, even though low prices are tempting.
What is Bulenox?
Bulenox is a futures prop firm offering qualification accounts, then funded “master” accounts. I could not confirm its founding year or head office from the sources available to me. An affiliate-linked review reports two account options per size (trailing drawdown with full contracts from day one, or end-of-day with a daily loss limit and scaling) and a first $10K of master-account profits at 100%; I could not verify that last claim.
How reputable is Bulenox?
- Review volume: about 1,600 reviews on Trustpilot pages I could see.
- Sentiment: split. Spring 2026 five-star reviewers describe steady payouts, one saying over ten approved with none rejected.
- Source caution: pricing and “held steady” claims come from an affiliate site.
What do traders praise and complain about?
Praised: simple rules for some, acceptance and timing of payouts for others. Complained about:
- Unwritten rules. A February 2026 reviewer alleges an informal requirement that each day’s P&L match their strongest days; a March 2026 reviewer says no rules explain systems they have.
- Order types. A 1-star reviewer says a payout was denied because they switched from market to limit orders.
- “Flipping”. Another denial cited placing trades with limited exposure to add trading days. One reviewer was paid after a fourth request.
I could not read Reddit directly; check recent futures subreddits.
Which rules should you read before buying?
- The 40% consistency rule and how it is measured.
- The flipping restriction and the 10-trading-day threshold.
- Whether every rule is in the public policy; screenshot it before you buy.
How much does it cost and how do payouts work?
Reported promotional prices are low, with a 90/10 split after the first $10K at 100% (unverified). Compare the all-in cost with TradeDay and Elite Trader Funding.
Bulenox pros and cons
Pros
- Low reported prices.
- Many traders report steady payouts.
Cons
- Denials tied to rules reviewers say were unclear.
- Thin independent information about the company.
Who is it best for, and who should skip it?
Best for price-sensitive traders who keep detailed records and read the policy closely. Think twice if you want every rule explicit, or trade with limit orders and changing styles.

Reminder: I do not claim that any firm here is safe, that you will pass a challenge, get funded or be paid, or that trading will be profitable. Ratings are my editorial judgement from public sources, which are often affiliate-funded and sometimes disagree. Commissions never change a score. Only pay what you can afford to lose.
