Research, not advice. This is what I found in public sources about prop trading firms. It is not financial advice or a recommendation to buy any challenge. A challenge is a paid evaluation: most people who try one do not get funded, and the fee is usually not returned. Rules, prices and ratings change often, so confirm everything on the firm’s official site. Some links here are affiliate links, explained in the affiliate disclosure. See the full disclaimer.
Which are the best CFD and forex prop firms in 2026?
If you trade forex, indices or metals, this is the ranking for you. I scored ten CFD and forex prop firms on reputation first and marketing last. FTMO leads, with The5ers second, and every card below links to a full review and to the official site. If you trade contracts such as index futures instead, see the Top 10 futures prop firms; for coins, the Top 10 crypto prop firms.

Where two scores look the same after rounding, the order follows the unrounded score.
Scores are out of 5 and come from the rubric below. They are my editorial judgement from public sources, not a measurement.
How I ranked these CFD prop firms
- 25%Track record and stability. How long the company has operated, whether it has paused or closed, who is behind it.
- 25%Public rating and review volume. Trustpilot-style scores weighted by how many reviews sit behind them, and how consistent the sources are.
- 20%Payout evidence. Published payout totals, reported payout speed, and the volume of payout complaints.
- 15%Rule stability and transparency. Retroactive rule changes, clarity of the rules, how hard it is to see what blocks a withdrawal.
- 10%Conditions and value. Fees, profit split, drawdown style and platform choice.
- 5%Support and verification. How support and identity checks are described by traders.
- The ratings I could reach are secondhand. Most Trustpilot numbers were quoted by roundup articles, many affiliate-funded, and they disagree with each other.
- I could not read Reddit directly. Community sentiment is as trackers summarise it, so please read the forex subreddits and the live Trustpilot page yourself.
- This is desk research; I have not traded funded accounts at these firms for the ranking, and commissions do not change a score.

What should you know about CFD prop firms?
CFD and forex challenges usually combine a profit target with a daily loss limit and an overall loss limit. Those two numbers decide most outcomes, and they changed at several firms in 2026: trackers logged new drawdown limits at FTMO, The5ers, Funded Trading Plus and BrightFunded in April 2026. Older reviews can therefore describe limits that no longer apply.
Three more things to check on every CFD firm:
- Is the account simulated? Many are. That affects how orders, spreads and slippage work and where payouts come from.
- Which strategies are restricted? News trading, weekend holding, copy trading and some hedging are treated differently by each firm. Permissive rulebooks, such as the one reviewers describe at FXIFY, often shift the cost into add-ons.
- How is your split decided? At FundingPips your split changes with your payout cycle; at The5ers it scales with the program.
Why do CFD prop firm payouts get denied?
- Consistency or best-day rules, for example the 40% best-day rule reviewers describe at Alpha Capital Group.
- Behaviour rules such as a trader being accused of over-risking, a theme in the E8 Markets reviews.
- Identity and device checks that hold withdrawals, mentioned for FundedNext and Funded Trading Plus.
- Protections that close trades automatically, such as the 1% floating-loss shield on some Blue Guardian instant accounts.
How many forex prop traders actually get funded?
Few. Firms rarely publish pass rates, and the one detailed figure I found was for a futures firm. The safer assumption for any CFD challenge is that the fee is the price of an attempt. Only spend what you can afford to lose, and read the disclaimer.
10 questions to ask before buying a CFD challenge
- What are the daily and overall loss limits for this exact account, and when did they last change?
- Does a consistency or best-day rule apply to payouts?
- Which strategies, instruments and trading hours are restricted?
- Is the account simulated, and how are orders priced?
- What are the payout cycle, the split at that cycle and any minimum?
- Are resets, add-ons or withdrawal fees extra?
- What do recent one- and two-star Trustpilot reviews say?
- Where is the company registered, and does that match the terms?
- What happens if the account is idle?
- Can I afford to lose the fee?
CFD prop firm discount codes and offers
Verified codes and affiliate offers for the CFD firms appear below, with a copy button. I only list what I have entered and checked; “no verified code” means none for now. Please read the affiliate disclosure.
I have no verified discount codes to list at the moment. Each review links to the official site, where you can see current pricing.
My verdict: how I would shortlist
I would read FTMO and The5ers first for track record, then compare price and payout style with FundedNext and FundingPips. I would treat the firms at the bottom of the list with extra caution until their evidence improves. For the full picture of all three markets, start at the prop firm overview.
Reminder: I do not claim that any firm here is safe, that you will pass a challenge, get funded or be paid, or that trading will be profitable. Ratings are my editorial judgement from public sources, which are often affiliate-funded and sometimes disagree. Commissions never change a score. Only pay what you can afford to lose.
